Liz Chalenburg, MS, is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) in the State of Nebraska. She graduated from the University of Nebraska-Omaha with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a graduate certificate in Gerontology.

Liz’s primary focus in treatment is complex developmental trauma and dissociation. In therapy, Liz takes a holistic approach to help clients overcome challenges and meet their goals, often incorporating mindfulness-based interventions. She provides a supportive and non-judgemental space where clients can process, question, and learn about themselves. Liz is an EMDRIA Certified EMDR therapist and Consultant-in-Training has Level 1 training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and has completed advanced training in treating complex developmental trauma and dissociation.

Her extensive therapeutic experience includes working with individuals, families, and groups in residential and outpatient community counseling settings.
