COVID-19 Policy

In a time of great uncertainty, an emerging understanding of COVID-19 and its short and long-term effects, and disagreements between political leaders and leaders in the fields of health and sciences at the local, state, and national levels, it has been difficult to know where to turn for guidance. At Into Balance, we have chosen to seek guidance from local and national health and sciences organizations. These include the Lincoln/Lancaster County Health Department, the Partnership for a Healthy Lincoln, COVID Act Now, and the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Based upon this guidance, we have developed and will continue to modify a set of policies and procedures to maximize safety based upon the current, local risk of COVID-19 spread. These measures are taken out of an abundance of caution and with respect and compassion for our clients, our colleagues, our local healthcare professionals, and our community at large. Please reach out to your Into Balance therapist or teacher regarding in-person or virtual meetings and appointments or with any other questions you may have.

As the effects of the pandemic and our efforts to contain them continue, it seems wise to cultivate compassion for ourselves and all others and to prioritize physical and emotional wellbeing. Please consider taking time to establish or deepen a personal mindfulness meditation practice. You are welcome to make use of the recordings of guided meditations available at www.intobalance.us/meditations. If we can assist you in this process, please feel free to contact us.

May all know safety and security. May all know happiness and contentedness. May all know health to the greatest degree possible. May all know peace.
