Marcia Stephens, BSN, RN, LMHP, is a licensed mental health practitioner and therapist who works with adults. She brings a unique perspective to therapy, drawing from her background as both a certified oncology nurse and a certified psychiatric nurse.
Marcia understands that emotional pain and physical health are often intertwined, and she creates a warm, approachable space for clients to process what they’re carrying. She specializes in grief therapy and practices from a person-centered approach — meaning clients are met with genuine respect, empathy, and no judgment.
In session, Marcia collaborates with clients at their own pace to navigate loss, life transitions, anxiety, and other challenges. Her goal is to help each person feel heard, supported, and more connected to their own strengths.

Marcia Stephens, BSN, RN, LMHP, brings a distinctive combination of nursing and mental health experience to her work as a therapist at Into Balance. She is a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner and Registered Nurse who works with adults. Her professional background includes experience as a certified oncology nurse and certified psychiatric nurse.

This combination gives Marcia a perspective that considers the relationship between emotional and physical health. She creates a warm and approachable setting where adults can process difficult experiences and discuss the concerns they are carrying. Her primary specialty is grief therapy, and she uses a person-centered approach based on respect, empathy, and a nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship.

Marcia works collaboratively with clients and allows the therapeutic process to move at the individual’s own pace. Her areas of focus include grief, life transitions, anxiety, person-centered therapy, and adult therapy. Her goal is to help clients feel heard and supported while reconnecting with their own strengths.
